The project aimed to transform WD.com into a cutting-edge e-commerce platform, enhancing user engagement and simplifying the shopping journey.

We developed a new product discovery flow aligned with industry best practices and emerging trends. The search experience was reimagined with in-depth faceted filtering, while product detail pages were designed to engage users, provide valuable information, and drive sales.

We also implemented a personalized recommendation system that suggests products based on user behavior and preferences, enhancing the overall shopping experience.

Lastly, we worked with the brand and marketing team at WD to design eye-catching and informative marketing and website visual assets.

Process

The WD.com redesign followed a structured, user-centered approach to create a more seamless and engaging shopping experience. The process began with in-depth research, including user interviews, competitive analysis, and data-driven insights to identify pain points and opportunities.

From there, we defined key user journeys and established a strategic vision for the new experience. Wireframes and prototypes were developed to explore different design solutions, which were then refined through iterative usability testing. The redesign introduced a revamped product discovery flow, an enhanced faceted search experience, and optimized product detail pages. Collaboration between design, development, and business stakeholders ensured alignment with brand goals and technical feasibility.

The final design was validated through A/B testing and launched with a focus on continuous improvement based on user feedback and performance metrics.
